Performer
Whitney is a professionally trained trumpet player. She has performed in orchestras, brass quintets, wind ensembles, British brass bands, brass ensembles, opera pits, musical pits, sacred ensembles, big bands, and marching bands (Contest and show).
Instructor
Whitney is currently the Trumpet Instructor at Denison University. She also instructs privately through her studio in Ohio.
Business Professional
Whitney has been involved with the music instrument industry for several years and is currently a consultant for trumpet designs. She can present lectures and teach the business side of being a musician in today's market.
Lecturer
Whitney has given several lectures on varying musical topics including British Brass Bands, trumpet literature, and performance anxiety.
Academic
Besides being a collegiate instructor, Whitney is also a researcher. She is currently working on research relating to trumpet design and use.
